This tour focused on the dynamic design principles Copenhagen’s urban transformation, including policy strategies to create the lively, sustainability-focused city we know today. We studied new urban connections, green mobility networks, harbor redevelopment, iconic Danish architecture, and Copenhagen’s transformative eco-city in Nordhavn. 

Smart-City Copenhagen

Scaledenmark advocates for best practice solutions in sustainable policy and design – including how cities can optimize and manage data to improve life quality through smart-city solutions at various scales. Scaledenmark had the privilege of hosting a delegation of urban leaders from Lucerne, Switzerland to learn more about how smart technologies in cities can strengthen local infrastructures, improve data solutions, and strengthen the decision-making process...

While the winter days are short here in Denmark, we have much to look forward to for 2018. We have been reflecting on the past year with Scaledenmark, and we are proud to report that in 2017 we had a total of:

Scaledenmark toured with the next generation of design and construction engineers with students from the Teknisk Landsforbund from Esbjerg, Denmark.
